Bunbury is a port city in Western Australia, about 175 km south of Perth, the state capital. Located at the south of the Les It is Western Australia’s third-biggest city.
It was founded in 1836 and named after its founder, Lieutenant Henry Bunbury. Following its establishment, a port was built on the harbour and ultimately was used as the major port for the wider South West region. Further economic development followed, driven by the operation of the South Western Railway in 1893, which connected Bunbury with Perth.

Bunbury Terminal, or Bunbury Passenger Terminal, is a train and bus station in East Bunbury operated by TransWA. It is the last stop for the Australind train service to and from Perth along the South Western Line. TransBunbury runs bus routes connecting Bunbury Terminal with the Bunbury city centre.
